UIUK actively supports educational initiatives that are based on firm pedagogical principles. We are pleased to be part of a collaborative project in partnership with this Community Center, which combines traditional content with latest pedagogical theory and practice. The Center runs a few community support projects, one of which is Arabic classes for children.
UIUK believes that education is the bedrock of reviving individuals and communities.
Islamic education must be underpinned by a firm pedagogy that takes account of how children learn and makes learning relevant to their lives. Such an education will ensure that children develop a life long relationship with the Quran based on deep and critical understanding.
