Food of the people other than the Abrahamic faith

By: admin

Question

I want to inquire regarding the eating the food from the people who do not believe in God’s books like eating in the home of Hindus or Sikhs. Most of the Hindus are vegetarians so the food prepared is actually halaal in nature.

Please explain.

Muslims must always remember that they are the bearers of the final message of the creator of this universe ie AlMighty Allah.They must have very cordial relations with all humans irrespective of their creed or caste.The criteria of what muslims can eat and what they cannot is clearly outlined in the Quran and explained in the books of Ahadith. Muslims may eat from their friends’ places whether they adhere to any faith or not. However, animals which muslims are allowed to eat need to be slaughtered fulfilling the following three conditions:

The animal should be slaughtered by a person, who strictly ascribes to the concept of the Oneness of God;

The animal should not be consecrated for any false deities and should be slaughtered in the name of the One God; and

The animal should be slaughtered in such a way that most of the blood flowing in its veins is poured out of it.

We hope this helps
