Hi there.I have read your responses on homosexuality and i am not convinced with your answers.I am not a homosexual, but I dont see Gays any different from others as human beings and i feel they deserve to be treated equally. I,myself,initially thought that gays were mentaly sick people but later in life I came to realize that homosexuality was not necessarily a mental health issue and especially one should not be persecuted for it.  They might have naturally discovered themselves as homosexuals; it’s a shame that even in a society like Britain they have not been recognized for millenniums, until the 20th Century.  Many gays I’ve come across are not necessarily abused people, they’re that way naturally and are proud of it.  It’s obvious then they’ve faced the prospect of not naturally parenting children, but through adoption.  If Islam forbids homosexuality, then what do you say about those natural gays?

In my answers I have never suggested that homosexuals do not deserve the same rights as others. Nor did I, in any way, imply that homosexuals are necessarily abused or mentally sick people. However, in my opinion, homosexuality, as I mentioned in my previous responses, is a sexual perversion.I would request you to kindly enlighten me why do you think it is not a perversion?You have said yourself that they cannot naturally parent children.Is this normal?

My dear brother,homosexuality is against the physical, emotional and social nature according to which God created man. This sexual perversion may develop in an individual due to a number of reasons.Whatever the reasons, all that I have suggested in my response was that in my opinion, when a person realizes that he/she is inclined toward something which is against the nature, according to which God created him/her, he/she should then try to get the problem solved.

It is imperative that people realise that homosexuality is glaringly against human nature and till the time this problem is not appreciated no solution can be advised to correct this diversion.If we accept the premise that homosexuality occurs naturally in some humans then we will also have to accept that exhibitionism,fetishism,masochism and voyeurism  are also natural inclinations and hence be allowed to practice and accepted by societies.

Firstly, prohibition of homosexuality is not merely religious it is natural. Natural prohibitions have a very strong basis in the universal nature of man. Therefore, I do not understand what exactly do you imply by “natural gays”.
